Quarantine Recipes: Pesto
Ingredients:
2 packed cups basil leaves
1/2 cup walnuts (or any nuts you like! Pistachios, roasted pine nuts, pecans, almonds, etc.)
3 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp salt (+ more to taste)
1/4 tsp pepper (+ more to taste)
1/2 cup olive oil
Instructions:
In a food processor, pulse/process basil, nuts, garlic, salt, and pepper until finely chopped and well incorporated.
Pour in olive oil, and process until smooth. If too thick for your liking, add more olive oil. If too thin, add more nuts!
Serve over pasta and enjoy!
